Filling the Week with Pokémon Go Activities

I intend to fill the weekdays of this week with posts that relate to Pokémon Go, so I need to fill today's post with that content. Fortunately, the topic also concerns "filling" in some way, which is a nice alignment. The "filling" part is about having some sort of sub-event or activity, which to anyone who has played the game recently will be familiar. Yet the current state is only partial in most cases, and the next objective becomes the filling of the full week with those sub-events or activities, something that may not come easily.

For that purpose, recall that Tuesday and Wednesday already have sub-events or activities associated with them, being the persistent Spotlight Hour and Raid Hour. Now, a new one has joined and appears to be persistent as well: Max Monday, the Power Spot equivalent of a Raid Hour, with one featured Pokémon at all of these in the same one-hour period. It is through these that the Dynamax Legendary birds also debuted, though the sub-event or activity had been established for a few weeks prior to this happening.

That leaves Thursday and Friday to be filled. Also recall that certain experiments had been conducted to try to conceive certain sub-events or activities, but they ended up as parts of other events (increased TGR balloon frequency) or their own event instead (Mega Raid Day). It might be a bit difficult to come up with sub-event or activity ideas for these days, although a personal idea of mine is a "Battle Hour" where bonuses gained from all kinds of battling (PvE, PvP, Gym, etc.) could be increased to make them lucrative.

Admittedly, there have already been instances where a week is filled with sub-events or activities, as in the lead-up to last November's Wild Area weekend event, in which the weekdays were filled with all Raid Hours. Still, these don't all constitute unique sub-events or activities, which is the idea that I'm getting at in this post; in fact, at that time, Spotlight Hour concurrently ran with the Raid Hour. Having all unique sub-events or activities would still be the goal to be achieved through a certain implementation.

Realistically, some people - which could be said to include me - do play Pokémon Go day in and day out, so the idea of having sub-events or activities throughout all the days of the week and in particular the weekdays between big weekend events (like Community Day and Raid Day) would still be a neat one. Questions for that implementation may still abound,  specifically pertaining to the "what" and "how", but the possibility could still be realized, as is true of the effort to fill this post with the ideas for that.
