Problems with Pokémon Go Groups?

As noted, I've had to make use of Campfire for my raid group, and now I want to touch on issues more related to the latter and more generally for any group involved in Pokémon Go affairs. It was only five years ago that I made a post regarding how some of those may be involved in "splits", and that and other issues could have possible ties to other problems with the groups. I feel that I need to make the discussion because of the social nature of the game and how that can magnify said problems.

If the people in a group exhibit some behaviors that are considered "toxic", then it might be possible for continued occurrence and exposure to normalize such behaviors, even though they shouldn't be considered normal by any means. This might be something that prompts certain people to distance themselves from specific groups, which has in fact happened in the case of my raid group with a specific person. I find myself doing the same with my raid group at times, even though I still need their services at times.

Then, it might be possible for its members to become absorbed in other activities and/or practically become separated, making it practically impossible to incur many of the regular meetups that Pokémon Go practically demands today, not even with the assistance of Campfire. The best some of them can do is to seek the regular meetups of other groups, but that does seem to slightly defeat the purpose of the group being formed. Still, this seems to be the reality of some groups, at least one of which I am in.

Yet another possibility is having the de facto "leader(s)" of a group going into a state where it becomes prohibitive for them to start the usual initiatives, including those for the meetups as mentioned above, for example due to ill health. In this specific case, it seems hard to do anything unless someone can take over and start those initiatives for themselves, or the "leader(s)" become able to start the initiatives again. Otherwise, the group seems to become "defunct" at that point, similar to the previous situation.

With the above cases, it becomes (somewhat) apparent that even minor - or maybe not exactly minor - happenings or situations can have some profound effects on groups of Pokémon Go players (Trainers). All of them have some element of social disruption for the people of concern, leading to the social disruption of play for the group themselves. While it may not be possible for Campfire to solve them in their entirety, there could be hope for other solutions while maintaining play.
