The Peak of World of Wonders

Then comes the end of the Pokémon Go season. Billed as a "World of Wonders", the season had indications of not only astonishing things, but also possibilities of magical attractions and circus-like gallantry, as I had noted at the beginning of the season. As is the norm, I consider its last day as the height of things rather than a closure, and I have to view things in the former rather than the latter viewpoint, while also factoring in happenings from outside Pokémon Go yet still in relation to the seasonal theme.

For that, it's wise to start off with Pokémon Go as the root of things. Considering the game events - including Community Day - over the course of these three months, there has been a certain diversity of both aspects and species of Pokémon, and that may be enough to qualify as a wonder "circus". For those living in the "Emerald of the Equator", having two parts of the journey of the famed mascot might be an extra-special wonder (even, "magic"), though so is any of the other events happening elsewhere in the world. The bottom line seems to be that the wonder can be found if one looks hard enough.

In other Pokémon areas, there may have been a little less wonder to go through. Yet if Pokémon Presents from the transition from last season becomes of any indication, despite being "business as usual", all the divulged new content "circus" and the "attractions" that have been realized up to this point in time brings about a continued wonderful presence all their own. The real wonder may strike later on like a returning boomerang, but enough wonder has been realized now that it does somewhat fulfill the premise of the season.

Generally, it may be considered that wonder is a requisite when it comes to Pokémon, regardless of form or presentation (for example, the presently ending Pokémon Go season). Still, the Pokémon Go season does serve as a bit of a reminder that the wonder does exist and it may not take much to find it. This will become the effort in the forthcoming Pokémon Go seasons as well as other general Pokémon happenings.

As for what those may bring, it may help to consider that the presently ending Pokémon Go season had "world" in its title, which might have suggested a slight impression of being kept close to the ground. After a season with such an impression, there might be the time to take to the skies and share the wonders (and related things) with fellow Pokémon fans. That seems to be a wonderful world in and of itself.
